Baldo Calvillo is the founder/CEO of Grizzly Landscape, a Riverside County native whose roots are in hands-on residential maintenance alongside his father. That early, sustained exposure sharpened his eye for practical design—what lasts, what clashes, and how small details impact long-term results.

Baldo’s ethos blends craft and care: elevate quality (no corner-cutting), design for usability and clean lines, and develop a strong team culture. With any new build, there are a few things your builder will do and some others things that you will need to do yourself. Backyard landscaping, patio pavers, water irrigation, etc is a must. Finding the right landscaper who can create your dream is also a must. Baldo of Grizzly was that individual. We worked together on which eco friendly plants would work well for our changing climate, which drip-system to use, what rock/moon scape to incorporate in our backyard, along with incorporating an artificial Astro turf for the pups.

Contacted this company to help repair my front lawn. My previous tenants ripped up everything out of the yard, to include new trees that were planted, and left us with nothing but dirt and frustration!! I contacted Baldo whom was very professional and a really down to earth guy. He came to my property and presented me with a couple of designs and quotes that fit within my budget. Once the plan was solidified, his crew showed up fully prepared each day and cleaned up after themselves each day. They sent me progress videos each day to show what was done and the plan for the following day! They also included me in a group chat to discuss and pertinent details that would affect the project. They made this entire process less stressful and the results were fantastic! I highly recommend this company!!

Grizzly Landscape did an amazing job from start to finish. Everyone on the crew works their butts off from start to finish (even in 100+ everyday). Baldo is a very busy man but was always available to respond and/or make quick adjustments throughout my project. We had an old retaining wall removed/replaced, plus turf DG, proper drainage installed and decorative rocks. The pricing was very competitive and my family is 100% satisfied. We have already spent countless hours in the yard and will continue to as the weather cools down. Thanks to everyone at Grizzly Landscape for the awesome job. I really like these guys and would use them again. Baldo came out twice before we started to finalize the design. His crew worked hard to finish in a decent time with a nice finished product. They came back multiple times to fix my irrigation timer, and didn't stop until it was working properly. They even did a little bit of extra work for us without charging. Very friendly and hard working crew. They did concrete, irrigation, plants, rocks and DG for us.

From the time I first called, Baldo returned my call within minutes. He asked for some information and a pic of the area and what I needed. He came out, took some pictures and measurements. That same afternoon he gave us a estimate...which was very reasonable. I signed the contract by e-sign, and his crew was out in two days. I was very impressed how hard they worked and got the job done in one day. They cleaned up and you would never know they were there. The plants they planted were healthy and bright. From the estimate process to the final product, I've never dealt with a company willing to work for the client and insure their vision has been exceed.
